Blast off to Heaven Just Like Cullen on a Motorbike

Everyone appears to be mum on that AMAZING party at Derek and Renee's last night. I've never really been a fan of word games, but Apples to Apples was hilarious (like my past)- not phony (like my bedroom).

Yes, there was the CD guessing game as well. This activity needs to evolve more, though. I think last night's round was a good start. I can't believe [info]maxwellgregory put Eisenhower's D-Day speech on his disc.

Justin is home. Hopefully, he'll tell his "trying to fly out of Mexico" adventures himself. We will remain without cable and internet until Saturday. I guess Comcast had a bunch of people walk off the job this week.

Not much else. The resume is pretty much done. Now comes the marketing of Sam.

Thanks! I'll probably take advantage of that.

Hey, you should get a job at Comcast! Then again, if people are simply walking off the job, I can't imagine working there must be too great.
That was a very fun party. I hope Derek comes up with another CD challenge again soon so Terra and I can actually get off our butts and contribute a disc.

I feel like I've played a game similar to Apples to Apples, based on the clues in your post. It was called Green Door or something like that.

Tell me more about this CD guessing game.

My buddy [info]djande told whoever was interested to send in, or bring a mix CD to this party we had. The CD was supposed to speak volumes on one's personality. We put the CDs in a changer (5 at a time) and has people guess what songs belong to whom. It was... different.

We'll probably go with a theme next time. Perhaps I'll put in one of the Friday Afternoon mixes?

There was one Velvet Underground that we guessed of yours. I think there was a twangy country number that we also said was yours.
